To help feed the thousands of struggling veterans and military families on Long Island, the Nassau County Police Benevolent Association, Detectives Association and Superior Officers Association will hold a

Veterans Day food drive on Tuesday, November 11th

in support of Island Harvest Food Bank, Long Island’s largest hunger relief organization. The collection will directly benefit Island Harvest’s Operation: HOPE initiative, which delivers food and supplies to Long Island veterans and military families in need of assistance.

The PBA, SOA and DAI are honored to partner with Island Harvest to participate in providing food and supplies for our veterans and military families in need. These heroes and their families have made sacrifices in defending our great country and others in need, it’s now our turn to help provide for the veterans and military families across long island.”
