Mineola, November 17, 2014: Arrest for Burglary 1st Degree

Third Precinct officers responded to a radio notification for a robbery that just occurred at a residence on Lincoln Avenue in Mineola. A female subject knocked on the door and a male, known to her, answered the door. At that time two other male subjects and the female pushed there way into the home. They punched and kicked the victim about the face and torso. The subjects then took the victims safe and fled in their vehicle. Based on the radio notification, Third Precinct Officers located the defendants car driving northbound on Willis Ave toward Jericho Tpke. The officers followed the vehicle onto the Long Island Expressway where it exited on Rte 106/107 and collided with a livery cab. The vehicle was disabled and all 3 subjects were placed under arrest.

All three subjects were charged with Burglary 1st Degree, two counts of Robbery 2nd Degree, Grand Larceny 2nd Degree, and Conspiracy 4th Degree. The driver was also charged with Reckless Endangerment 1st Degree, Reckless Endangerment and multiple Vehicle and Traffic Law Violations.
