New Hyde Park, May 31, 2019: Arrest for Robbery

The Major Case Bureau reports the arrest of a Huntington Station man and a Rocky Point woman for a Robbery that occurred on Friday, May 31, 2019 at 10:38 am in North New Hyde Park. 

According to Robbery Squad Detectives a male black, wearing a face mask entered TD Bank located at 110 Hillside Avenue. The subject displayed a handgun and announced a robbery was taking place and demanded money from a teller. The subject pointed the handgun at the teller and the teller complied with his demand. The subject then fled eastbound on Hillside Avenue to an awaiting silver Hyundai Accent being operated by a female white subject. Officers responded to the area and the subject vehicle was located at New Hyde Park Road and Lawrence Street. The male subject, was placed under arrest. The female subject was ordered out of the vehicle, placed in handcuffs, and arrested by a Nassau County Police Recruit, with the assistance of his Field Training Officer. 

The male defendant, is charged with Robbery 1st Degree and Criminal Use of a Firearm 1st Degree. The female defendant, is charged with Robbery 1st Degree and Criminal Use of a Firearm 1st Degree.
