On November 29th, 2016 Officers Lamariana and Korn responded for an assault in progress on Newbridge road and West John Street, Hicksville. Upon arrival they observed the victim had been stabbed in the chest with a knife and the suspect had fled the scene.

Officers Lamariana and Korn immediately began their investigation by conducting interviews with people that knew the parties involved. They quickly gained information about the subject including his description and vehicle.

They conducted a canvass and soon located the subject in his vehicle where he was placed under arrest for Assault in the 2nd degree. The subject had several open felony warrants.

It was because of their thorough investigation and interviews as well as the knowledge their posts and surrounding areas that they were able to get this dangerous individual off the streets.
