On September 21, 2018 Officers Triolo and Engels were dispatched to a call for a suspicious occupied vehicle in Hicksville.

Officers Triolo and Engels responded to the scene and located the subject vehicle, the officers detected a strong odor of Marijuana. The officers removed the 4 subjects from the vehicle. A bag of Marijuana was seen in the front door panel. Officers also observed the butt end of a firearm sticking out from under the passenger seat. Officers recovered a loaded 9mm semi-automatic pistol.

All four subjects were placed under arrest.

Because of the officers quick response, good tactics, and observational skills they were able to take a gun off of the street. We are proud to name these officers the PBA Top Cops for September 2018.
