On February 6, 2013 at approximately 8:35pm, two subjects entered a business in Wantagh and announced a robbery with one of the subjects displaying a pistol. The subjects removed approximately three hundred dollars from the register and fled the scene in a Kia Soul. A short time later, after hearing a radio call and information on the subjects, Officers Adams and Karp conducted a canvas and located the subjects’ vehicle a short distance from the scene. They were able to stop the vehicle without incident and conducted a positive show-up. Both subjects were arrested and were subsequently found to be responsible for a robbery pattern in which ten cases were solved.

Thanks to their quick response and alertness, these officer where able to locate and apprehend the two subjects responsible for the robberies, and for that, they are named PBA Top Cops for February, 2013.
