On April 9, 2018 at approximately 1700 HRS, while on routine patrol in the Baldwin area and doubled in RMP 110, Officers Turbush and Goodrich observed a black BMW traveling at a high rate of speed. The officers conducted a VTL stop. Upon approaching the vehicle, the officers detected a strong odor of marijuana emanating from the vehicle. The officers also observed a grinder with what appeared to be marijuana in it.

The officers removed the subjects from the vehicle. As Officer Turbush went to remove the grinder from the vehicle, he observed and recovered a loaded, black revolver. Both subjects were taken into custody.

Because of their dedication and keen observation, they were able to take these dangerous criminals and a revolver off the street. For their actions we are proud to name Officers Turbush and Goodrich, PBA Top Cops for April 2018.
